Theme of the week at the moment but I’ve just recently installed Enlightement on my home machine. E is a window manager thingy, and it absolutely rocks. I’ve begun taking meditation classes at work under the tutelage of Bruce Evans, who’s been teaching it for over 10 years apparently. We’re just doing very simple calming meditations, generally sitting for about 30 minutes. Well I’ve finally gotten it going – I’m exercising in the mornings. For the last week I’ve been getting out of bed between 0500 and 0530, to get to work by 0700 and use the treadmill in the gym.
