We’re in Sydney! B had his first trip on an airplane, and we’re now in a hotel in the city. We’ve had one calamity after another but we finally have rooms and everything else sorted out and we’re settling in. Unfortunately I need to catch up on the work I missed while my laptop was down last week, so I won’t be able to do the holiday thing for the entire trip, but I’ll still get to spend a couple of days with R & B doing stuffs. We’re going to the aquarium over the weekend so that should be fun.
I feel terribly guilty having to work while we’re having this little holiday, but R & B are both being very understanding. I do need to catch up so I don’t get behind on current developments – the opportunities we have at the moment are too big to risk messing up, not to mention that people are counting on me! Still, it’s fun to be away with them, and we’re enjoying mucking about in the hotel. More tomorrow.

It’s been some time since I blogged and for good reason – I’ve been sooo busy. Here’s a quick summary of whats been occurring:
– took leave of absence from work, which ended up being permanent and am now working at home for myself.
– made contact with a couple of useful people and now have more contract work than I can shake a stck at.
– got a new kitten
– got really sick
– got better again
– decided to get married
Yes many things, much goodness. not sure if I can be bothered filling in all the details at the moment but I will post shortly about the wedding at any rate
