Yes yes, once again I’ve been a slack tart. I have, this time however, a legitimat eexcuse – I’ve been working 7 days a week, and lately doing some furniture moving whenever I can fit it in. There is now a lot of extra stuff in my house, mostly piled in the center of each room to allow me to squeeze past! It’s all good though – gradually finding a place for everything and getting the house setup the way I want it. R naturally has been busy at it, and B is well chuffed to have a little more room in his bedroom.
In terms of work, everything’s flat stick. I have an ongoing client I’m regularly supporting, and now doing some prep work for a major redevelopment, I have two new clients to setup a farcry instance for, I have an old client to do more redevelopment for (again in farcry) with an ecommerce engine to build into farcry, plus I have two more potential clients coming next week. It’s all good to have, although 3/5ths of the work I’m doing is essentially investment for profit share, assuming business take off. All in all though, there are a few little earners in there potentially, and some of the upcoming clients are straight cash with a possible ongoing commitment which would be nice. I think it’s about 2-3 more weeks of hard work like this, then I should have the base I need to just keep selling customized versions of the solution without too much work. Here’s hoping.
Spent last night moving the bedroom around to accommodate new furniture and make better use of the available space. It was hot, sweaty very dusty work but I managed to get enough done to have rearranged the bed and gotten in a new dresser and drawers set, plus tidied up the rest. I was so tired by midnight when I finished that I had no trouble going to sleep in the new position
