Housework is fun… housework is fun…
Sigh. Housework sucks. Not just the actual doing, in fact sometimes that can be very relaxing, just pottering about the house tidying things up. The thing that gets me is that you have to do it so often. There are so many things I’m trying to fit into my day, and I have to do housework on top! If I win the lottery, I’m getting a maid 
I can tidy up fine, my problem is maintaining the cleanly state. I tend to leave the dishes to stack up because I’m too tired in the evenings, etc etc so I end up with a big pile of em to do. I’m sure there’s a solution, I just kinda resent losing so much time to menial tasks, and then I find stupid ways to avoid doing it – and thus lose my time in some other useless pursuit such as watching the tv while attempting to convince myself that this is me relaxing and enjoying my time 
Maybe if I just get on with it and work it into my schedule I’ll find ways to make it easier – this is all probably common sense to most people but a lot of these day to day things escape me. I’d rather play with the Muppetty, read a book or fiddle with the computer…. ach well back to the trenches. Listening to an album named “The richest man in babylon” at the moment, and it’s awesome – thoroughly recommended to anyone who cares.

Try someone else’s dishwasher first. All the loading and unloading takes almost as much time, and if you leave stuff in it, it smells. Besides, you’re renting, and you’d hardly want to stick one in a rented house.[Reply]
